“Those present were, Peter, John, James and Andrew;…They all joined together constantly in prayer…” Acts 1:13,14.
The apostles and early Christians prayed together constantly. Jesus told us (and taught us how) to pray. Jesus spent much time in prayer during His earthly ministry and He intercedes for us now. So let us at Gladstone First Baptist Church come together to pray. We’ll be starting a time of prayer for everyone to join in. It will be on Thursdays, and so that everyone will have a chance to participate, there will be different times of prayer. We’ll meet from 10:00-11:00 am in the worship center and from 3:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-8:00 pm in the chapel. Joan Herrick will be leading us in a time of adoration, confession and intercession for church members and activities, local, national and international. We’ll be starting on Nov. 16 so please join us during any of the hours mentioned above. “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42.
